Independent · one location
You are the whole back office.
Scheduling, training, ordering and the inspection binder live in your head or in a group text. Neither one survives a busy Saturday, and neither one comes with you when you finally take a day off.
The problem
One location is not a smaller version of four. It is a different problem.
What it actually looks like
- Training is whoever is on shift showing whoever is new, which means it is different every time.
- The health inspection binder is, genuinely, a binder.
- You remember the thing that needs doing at eleven at night.
- The one person who knows how closing works is on holiday.
Why most software does not fit
Restaurant platforms are priced and shaped for groups. You get modules you will never open, a seat count that assumes an office, and an onboarding call that costs you a shift.
What a single location needs is three or four things that work properly, on a phone, without a project. Then more only when the first three have earned it.
How it starts
Buy three things, pay for three things.
Modules run from $10 to $30 a month each. Pick the ones that hurt most, add more when they have paid for themselves, and not before.
- Checklists that survive a shift change Opening, closing and prep, with who did what and when, so the question on Monday has an answer instead of an argument.
- Team tracker Who is on the team, what they have been trained on, and what is outstanding. The thing currently living in your head.
- Walkthroughs The standard written down once, walked on a phone, and recorded. Useful the first time an inspector asks when you last checked something.
- Anything else from the menu Training, evaluations, meetings, inventory and the rest are there when you want them. The menu says what each one does and what it costs before you talk to anyone.
Being straight with you
One site is where we already work.
The single-location system we build and run today is an entertainment venue, not a restaurant: one site, one roster, staff dashboards, member records, cash reconciliation at the end of the night, and reporting the owner actually reads.
We would rather say that plainly than pretend it is a diner. It is guest-facing where yours is back of house, so some of the modules differ. What carries over is everything about running one of something: no multi-location overhead, one set of numbers, and software that has to work on the floor while the owner is doing four other jobs.
The other system on this site runs three locations and about two hundred and fifty active people. What you would run is that same platform with the parts you do not need switched off, not a cut-down rewrite.
What it costs to find out
- No build fee and no deposit.
- Billing starts on go-live day. If it never goes live, you never pay.
- Modules from $10 a month each. Three useful ones lands around $50.
- Cancel any time. There is no minimum term.
